Polvoron has always been a classic snack for Filipinos. It is flour mixed with sugar and stirred until light brown in big pans. I love to watch my aunts cooking this when I was young. Usually, they prepare this snack the same time with pastillas. Then, when cooked and let cool, we kids are then allow to mold it using oval shaped molders, and some nice fancy shaped molders. Next is when it is wrapped in different colors of plastic covers. I really love preparing this snack.
A week ago, my daughters and I were walking in a subdivision when my youngest kept on pulling my shirt telling me she was already hungry. Then she pointed a tall gate with a tarpaulin of Choc Vron. I decided to knock and check out the product. My business minded nature, as if was fueled also decided to sell it adding to my small businesses.
It tasted realllyyy gooooddd! And more, it has flavors that are nutritious like malunggay, squah, and ampalaya. Although my kids love to eat vegetables, I thought of some moms who have hard time feeding their kids veggies. Great! The first week, I already sold 3 boxes, which I just did in a matter of 1.25 hour combined and earned P3000. Awesome!
